“Wye” The Wye College Agricola Club Journal

The Club produces an annual Journal with news of its members, updates on the future of the College and articles on research and development in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food production and the Environment. The Journal is normally published in late summer/autumn of each year.

Annual Dinner

The Dinner provides an opportunity for a reunion each autumn with different annual year groups targeted for attendance. In addition, gatherings are organised from time to time by individual members of the Club in various parts of the country and overseas.

The Club Website

The Club now has an independent web site which carries details of its activities. During 2010 it is planned to launch a number of other facilities via the website, including a regularly updated newsletter.

Annual Summer Event

Modeled on the successful 2013 'Hog Roast' in East Anglia, it is planned to hold biannual summer events. It is anticipated that these will be based at varying locations across the UK, we will give up to date details on the News page.

Charitable Funds

The Club has at its disposal monies for grants held within the ‘Agricola Club Memorial Fund’. Grants are made to members in need and to support the studies of students in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food production, the Environment and related subjects. Enquiries should be sent to the Treasurer, Agricola Club Memorial Fund, Agricola Secretariat, Cumberland Court, Church Street, Wye, TN25 5BJ.

Advice can also be given on making applications to the ‘Wye College Foundation Fund’ which is now wholly administered by Imperial College London.
