Summer Hog Roast 2024

We have had a good response from many of you who would like to come to this year’s summer event. We already have members attending who were at Wye sometime between 1963 and 1994. If you would like to join us, please use the application form attached below.

Please contact your contemporaries and encourage them to come as well. Remember that spouses/partners don’t necessarily need to have attended Wye College and past students that did but who have never got round to joining the Agricola Club are also equally welcome. (Life Membership of the Club is currently still only £50!)

Whilst the Hog Roast is a little further north than had originally been intended, it is also a good opportunity for some of our more northern friends to attend and we look forward to seeing some new faces as well as some of the more regular attendees. This is especially the case if you usually consider venues such as Swindon or more recently Cirencester, not to mention Wye itself, too far south! Once again, many thanks to Tom for inviting us and hosting the event.

This should be a really interesting visit since lunch will be served in the foyer of the Brewery! Tom is happy to conduct a short farm walk and it is hoped we will be able to wander around the garden which for many years was part of the NGS Scheme.

Please ask if you need help finding accommodation – there are various local hostelries and the towns of Scarborough, Filey & Bridlington are not far away.
